CASAGO SOCAL
FIELD NOTES
Casago SoCal manages vacation homes across Southern California, and every destination has a real Casago owner and a local team who prepare, inspect, and stand behind each home. These are the questions guests ask us most, answered plainly.
Anything specific to a single home, including its pet policy, occupancy, parking, and cancellation terms, lives on that home's listing and in your quote. Those are the terms that govern your stay. If your question is not here, call (866) 365-2221.
Book direct and you deal with the local Casago team that actually manages the home. No platform sits between you and the people who hold the keys, know the quirks of the property, and can send someone over when something breaks.
The quote itemizes your full total, including fees and taxes, before you enter a card.
You get a confirmation email with your reservation details, and your local team takes it from there. Before arrival we send everything you need to walk in the door: access instructions, parking, Wi-Fi, trash day, and the number to call.
If we need something from you, such as a signed rental agreement or ID verification, we ask for it early rather than the day you travel.
You pay by card on this site. The quote breaks out the nightly rate, cleaning, fees, and taxes before you commit, so the number you approve is the number you pay.
Some reservations are split into a payment at booking and a balance due before arrival. Your confirmation shows the exact schedule that applies to your stay.
The policy is set per home and shown on the listing and in your quote before you pay. That version governs your stay, so read it there rather than assuming.
Our full cancellation terms, including how refunds are issued and what to do when plans change, are on the cancellation policy page linked at the bottom of this page. If something unexpected comes up, call your local team instead of guessing.
Your arrival instructions tell you exactly how to get in, usually a door code or a lockbox, and they reach you before your stay along with parking and Wi-Fi details. Check-in and check-out times are listed on each property page.
Flights move and Friday traffic happens. If you are running late or want to drop bags early, message the local team rather than waiting at the curb.
Your local Casago team, the same people who prepared the home. Their number is in your arrival instructions and on your confirmation, and the SoCal line is (866) 365-2221.
Call for anything urgent: no hot water, an air conditioner that quit in July, a lock that will not cooperate. Text or email is fine for smaller things, like a missing corkscrew or a question about the grill.
Yes. Every home is professionally cleaned before you arrive: linens and towels laundered, kitchen and bathrooms sanitized, trash removed, beds made, and supplies restocked.
Pet policy is set per home by the owner, and the listing states it plainly, including any pet fee and limits on size or number. Your quote reflects the policy for the home you choose.
Please do not bring a pet to a home listed as pet free. It puts your reservation at risk, and it is unfair to the guest with allergies who arrives after you. Service animals are accommodated as required by law.
Parking is described on every listing: driveway, garage, assigned space, or street. It varies more than guests expect. Beach neighborhoods and older downtown blocks often carry permit rules or a cap on how many vehicles a home may park.
Bringing a second car, an oversized truck, or a boat trailer? Ask us before you book, not after you arrive.
Yes, and groups are a large part of what we host: family reunions, golf trips, birthday weekends, bachelorette parties, holiday weeks. Choose a home whose listed occupancy covers everyone, children included, because many of our cities enforce occupancy through the short term rental permit.
Two pages cover the rest: the cancellation terms in full, and every Southern California destination where we manage homes.
Prefer to talk it through with a person who knows the homes? Call (866) 365-2221.
Cleaning is part of your reservation and itemized in the quote. If something was missed, tell us on the first day and we will send someone back.
Yes. Our local team checks homes after the clean and ahead of arrival, and it is the same team you call during your stay. Inspections catch the ordinary things: a burned out bulb, a thin stack of towels, a patio umbrella that lost a fight with the wind.
We do not catch everything. When we miss, tell us early so we can fix it while you are still there to enjoy the result.
Tell us the occasion when you book. Our local teams look for reasons to do something small and unexpected before you walk in.
Assume no unless the listing says otherwise and we confirm it in writing. Most cities we operate in restrict events at short term rentals, and most owners do not allow them.
A dinner with the people on your reservation is not the same as a catered event with outside visitors and extra cars. Ask first. An unapproved event can end a stay early and cost you the rest of it.
